Integrations FAQ

Can my NFT collection be integrated into the Webb?

Pixel art collections that fit our integration guidelines and have some community support can be integrated. Simply submit an integration request via our Twitter DMs if you are from a collection or via #integration-request if you are a holder, and we will try to implement them as soon as possible.

Although non-pixel-art NFTs are not supported directly, communities can aim to create sprites, which can then be fed to us in the form of an API (see below).

What are the integration guidelines?

If the NFT is to be used as an avatar or pet, we prefer that they either have a transparent background (e.g. CryptoWeebs), or a flat color that is not used otherwise in the image such that we can remove it programmatically (e.g Cryptopunks).

Collections such as ChainRunners which contain more elaborate/unique backgrounds will require an API provided by the team to allow us to fetch background-less versions of the NFT.

Are there any size/resolution constraints?

Our in-game characters are roughly 16x32 pixels, so we would prefer that collections are proportionate to maintain a 1:1 pixel ratio, however, if required we can scale up or down the collection as necessary, but we must warn that this may distort the image when rendered in-game.
